Väveriet I Bollnäs have years of experience in woven fabrics, and have deep knowledge of the process required to make wind and water resistant felts.
Väveriet i Bollnäs is run by husband and wife Lars-Åke and Gunilla. They both worked previously at Växbo Lin, a linen weaving mill, and decided to change to wool and start their own small mill in 2014. They mainly make wool blankets and are interested in making other woollen fabrics in the future.
Väveriet i Bollnäs weaves our Findor yarn into cloth with a twill technique using ten threads per square centimetre. We tried many different iterations before selecting the twill that would be best for felting into an all-weather jacket.
